Marano’s Fuel officially opens new 24-hour service station in Tully

Marano’s Fuel has officially opened its newest and largest service station in Tully, creating new jobs for local residents.

The Tully site, located on the Bruce Highway at the corner of Andersen Street, is the 15th Marano’s Fuel site in North Queensland, and the independent and locally-owned company’s first on the Cassowary Coast.

The new 24-hour service station includes:

  • Sit down café-style dining, with fresh, hot food

  • Complete commercial kitchen

  • Heavy vehicle refuelling access (for B Doubles, Heavy Rigid vehicles, caravans and trailers), and trucker’s shower

  • High-flow diesel and Adblue at the bowser.

Marano’s Fuel Chief Executive Officer Angelo Marano said the new Tully service station will not only cater for travellers and truckers, but will also be a convenient stop for local residents.

“We feel this is a great time for us to expand our retail operations into the Cassowary Coast, and our new Tully service station marks a significant milestone for our company,” said Mr Marano.

“The addition of another site to our existing portfolio of locations will also ensure that we are able to continue to service our network of pre-existing clients in the Tully area.

“We've already got Cairns, Douglas, the Tablelands and Cooktown covered, and now we're helping to generate competition in Tully.

“The servo is perfect for locals to fill up, and we’re sure that drivers will also enjoy the new café-style dining experience which provides hot, fresh food.

“It will also showcase our exemplary level of customer service which sets us apart from the rest of the market.”

Mr Marano said Marano’s Fuel is proud to provide a locally-owned, independent service for its already strong customer base in the region.

“We’ve had lots of Tully residents already stop by and check out what’s on offer, and we’ve received some great feedback so far,” he said.

“We’re delighted to be part of the Tully community.”

The Tully service station is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Marano’s Fuel is an independent, NQ-owned business, proudly distributing fuel and oils to North Queensland businesses and communities for more than 75 years, and is well equipped to manage both bulk fuel and oil and lubricant deliveries across the region.
